The Ukrainian police want to have investigated 600 alleged crimes involving cryptocurrencies since the beginning of this year.
According to Forklog, this claim was made by Evgeny Panchenko, the head of the analytics department of the cybernetic department of the Ukrainian police.
Mr Panchenko said most of the cases involved “cyber criminals” who Crypto used to ‘launder illicit funds’ and trafficking in illegal items on the dark web.”

Ukrainian Cyber Police also sent a team to a recent summit organized by the economic and environmental authorities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. This summit was created in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
