On Saturday October 22nd took place the opening of the NFT Factory, a place dedicated to the discovery of NFTs and Web3 projects. On this occasion, we met with Titou Granier, Office Manager, who welcomed us to the premises of this brand new location in the heart of Paris, opposite the Center Pompidou.
Can you introduce yourself ?
My name is Titou Granier, I’m 22 years old. When I first became enthusiastic about cinema, I started studying arts and cultural management at ICART. In the course of my internships, I quickly got an appetite for the world of Web3, which then led me to numerous projects up to the NFT Factory.
Can you briefly define what NFTs are?
NFT is the acronym for “Non Fungible Token”, it is the title of ownership of a digital object, ie it allows authentication of the original owner of a file. Thanks to NFTs whoœWork is stored traceable and immutable on the blockchain: it is therefore even more effective than a paper COA! It is thanks to NFTs that crypto art has been democratized. What is your background in the world of NFTs?
The NTFs really came to me little by little, without me being interested in them at first. Two years ago, I was driven by a desire to reshape the film industry. My idea was very simple: I wanted to sell film snippets and accompany them with merchandising. For example, a parent could offer their child a pass from their favorite Disney and be the sole owner. NFTs then appeared as a ready solution. Not knowing much about this universe, I asked the director of my institution to set up NFT courses. His reply was: “Okay for conferences, but you are the one organizing it, here is a person to contact”. Armed with Jean-Michel Paihlon’s email address – Nicolas Laugero Lasserre and he collect together œWorks by Obvious – and my motivation I organized my very first NFT conference. Then Jean-Michel Pailhon offered me an internship, which I accepted without hesitation. The next day he entrusts me with a Ledger key, two hundred euros and these few words “Do with it what you want”. Since that day I have never stopped working in NFTs and I have had the opportunity to attend the largest NFT events in the world, notably in Lisbon or in New York on the evening of the announcement of the Ledger’s personal collection, which I have helped curate was involved.

Can you introduce us to the NTF Factory project?
The NFT Factory is the result of a collective of 128 founding members, also known as our “founders”. The goal is to democratize this shared passion of Web3 and NFTs and federate one community. Admission to the NFT Factory is free and open to all spectators. In this unique place you will find exhibitions of NFTs, workshops and training to get into the world of Web3, collect and even create NFTs. In addition, there is a program of various events, as well as an artist residency and a studio to support companies in the creation of Web3. There is also an exclusive area for members – owners of The Members Node, the gallery’s NFT – on the first floor. Exclusive events are organized there.
Who is the NFT Factory?
We are seven people: Lucie Eleonord Riveron, CEO; Loris Maciera Coelho, project manager and right-hand man of the CEO; Fares Habida, Web3 Project Manager; Benoit Couty, Artistic Director; Samy Behrouni, communications manager and Raphaëla Leveque, founding manager.
What was your role in this project?
I’m pretty versatile. I’m the office manager, I mainly take care of the cultural mediation of the place, I also help with the scenography and curation. I also attend NFTs training courses.
News?
The collective works on several projects like events, workspaces and other things that are still confidential but still related to the democratization of NFTs and Web3.
