Bitcoin
Year-to-date, Bitcoin — the No. 1 asset by market cap — is down 75% from its all-time high of $68,789.63 hit on Nov. 10, 2021, data from CoinMarketCap shows. Its market cap is around $331 billion, a far cry from its largest market cap of $1.28 trillion as of November 2021.
ether
Ether is also down 74% from its all-time high of $4,891.70 set on November 16, 2021. Its market cap also took a tumble, standing at $157 billion according to CoinMarketCap, compared to its all-time high of $571.67 billion on November 9, 2021, according to GlobalData.
Tether (USDT)
tether is down 24.4% from its all-time high of July 24, 2018 at $1.32. According to data from CoinMarketCap, the market cap stands at $65 billion, down from its all-time high of $83 billion in May.
Binance Coin (BNB)
BNB is down 57.3% at $295 from its all-time high of $690.93 hit on May 10, 2021. Its market cap is $47 billion, also below its all-time high of over $109 billion in November 2021, according to CoinMarketCap.
USD coin (USDC)
The USDC stablecoin is down 57.4% from its all-time high hit in November 2021. Its market cap has also fallen to $43 billion from $55 billion in June 2022, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Binance USD (BUSD)
BUSD is down just 9.6% from its March 12, 2020 all-time high at $1.11.
The market cap has also suffered less than other coins, according to data from CoinMarketCap at $22 billion compared to its all-time high of over $23 billion in November 2022.
XRP
XRP is another coin that has taken a serious hit. At $0.39, it is 89.8% below its all-time high of $3.84 hit on Jan. 4, 2018. Its market cap has also taken a huge hit, falling to $19 billion from its all-time high of $130 billion in January 2018, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Dogecoins (DOGE)
The celebrity-endorsed coin is down 86.3% at $0.10 from its all-time high of $0.73 hit on May 8, 2021, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Cardano (ADA)
ADA is down 89.5% from its all-time high of $3.10 hit on September 2, 2021. While its record market cap was over $94 billion as of August 2021, it fell to $11.2 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
polygon
polygon is down 68% from its all-time high a year ago at $2.92 on December 27, 2021. Likewise, its market cap has fallen to $8.1 billion compared to its all-time high of $19.5 billion, also reported to have been reached in December 2021, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
