Can you tell us more about Paarly’s area of expertise?
we are a software publisher Price specialist on the web, through its collection and optimization. We are able to analyze the prices of an entire market on behalf of our clients, which allows them to quickly know the price of their products and offers compared to their competitors. Based on the analyzes obtained, we can then help the company to reposition its prices.
Which actors are you helping today?
We work every day with the most diverse companies, from the most diverse and varied fields of activity, especially in retail with players in the fields of health and beauty, clothing, DIY or, for example, business supplies.
In all, we now work with more than two hundred clients, with many major clients and almost a third of the CAC 40 companies, including the three largest.
What encourages your customers to turn to your expertise rather than another?
We have developed a price observation platform with more than 5,000 locations in 60 countries, which allows our clients to understand very precisely the positioning of the competition in relation to the products they sell. Precisely thanks to this observatory, we will be able to reposition their offers according to the pricing strategy of their competitors, using the combination of algorithmic solution and artificial intelligence to be able to set prices automatically and spontaneously. This technology allows us to change tens of millions of prices every day on behalf of our partners.
The fact of the industrialization of price collection and analysis will allow price leaders to stop doing these actions manually and to focus fully on their work through tasks with higher added value.
The idea is also to strive for dual expertise.
Actually inside In pairs, we are building two large centers of excellence, with a first department dedicated to e-commerce, with experts who have worked at Amazon and who support customers in the marketplace part. The second department consists of data scientists who can help clients analyze the different data to optimize the price range as much as possible.
How about growing your business?
After eight years of building on equity, we completed our first fundraising of €4 million last March. A sum that should enable us to support the growth of the company and improve the onboarding of new customers. To date we have a growth rate of around 90%.
Given the recent crises we have been going through in recent years – be it Covid or the current one linked to inflation – and given the rise of e-commerce, we are now in a position to offer relevant solutions to our many customers . The fact that we have been supporting e-merchants for more than eight years allows us to have a high level of expertise and a real perspective on the challenges of this sector and its evolution over time.
